Google Hits Back At Book Critics

Google co-founder Sergey Brin has hit out at critics of the company’s plans to create what could be the world’s largest virtual library.

Writing in the New York Times, Mr Brin said he wanted to “dispel some myths” surrounding the project.

He said the plan would make millions of “out-of-print” books available to the public online. EmporiumBooks.com.au already offers previews of books through a deal with Google. Click the Preview Icon when viewing the full book details to view and search up to 30% of the book.
